Simple Past Tense

Simple past tense is one of the tenses that discusses about past, such as one hour ago, last year, and yesterday. It can discuss our past holidays and activities that we do. Here is the formula of past tense : Formula: (+) : Subject + Verb 2 + Object. Example: I did my homework yesterday. He cleaned the desk a year ago .  ( −) :  Subject + did not + Verb 1 + Object Example: I didn't eat my lunch an hour ago. I didn't get a good score on my previous test. Simple Present Tense

Simple present tense is one of the tenses that describes about our daily routines. However, this tense uses a time signal, such as every day, every morning, usually, and always. Example: about our job, daily routines, eating habits, activities during weekend. They also have a negative and interogative sentences. Here is the formula of simple present tense:  (+)      =      Subject         + Verb (S/es)      + Object.   Note: I/You/We/They + Verb He/She/It + Verb(s/es) Example: I go to the school by car everyday.  He usually washes his hands after dinner.   ( −)     =      Subject         + do/does not    + Verb         + Object.
