Simple Future Tense

 Simple Future tense is one of the tenses that discusses about future, such as next day, week, year, month, tomorrow. It can discuss our future plans and activities that we plan to do. Here is the formula of future tense :


Formula:

(+) : Subject + Will + Verb 1 + Object.

Example:

I will clean my desk tomorrow

He will go to the gym next day. 

Be noted when we are using future tense, the verb is still verb one for any subjects. 


(−) :  Subject + will not + Verb 1 + Object

Example:

I will not go to the mall with you next year.

I will not visit Europe next month.


(?) : Will+ Subject + Verb 1 + Object?

Example: 

Will I get a good mark in the  test tomorrow?

Will you swim tomorrow morning? 


Exercise

1. Make a positive sentence using simple future tense. 

a) She __________ (study) for her exam tomorrow.

b) We __________ (go) to the beach next weekend.

c) They __________ (visit) their grandparents next month.

d) I __________ (visit) my grandparents next Sunday.

e) By the time you arrive, we __________ (finish) our work.


2. Change the statement into the negative. 

a) He will travel to Paris next year.

b) They will finish the project by Friday.

c) She will attend the meeting tomorrow.


3. Complete these sentence using proper verb in Simple future tense. 

a) By this time next week, I __________ (complete) my assignment.

b) They __________ (not be) here for the event next month.

c) She __________ (start) her new job in January.


4. Change into interrogative part.

a) She will attend the conference.

b) They will finish the report tomorrow.

c) He will buy a new car next month.
